Success Is Inconvenient

Every year, millions of people around the world make their New Year’s Resolutions. Usually, by February (if not earlier), those resolutions are thrown out the window.

Health clubs always report a spike in memberships during the first week of the New Year as people desire to lose weight as a New Year’s Resolution.

History shows that even though they are paying for their memberships for the whole year, many health club members slow down their “attendance” significantly by February and rarely show up as late as April.

The only ones who make out in this deal are the health club owners.

*** If you want 2009 to have a more positive effect on your life than last year, you will have to make changes in your life. The sooner you do, the sooner the changes will appear.***

Some of these changes may be small and others may require a major shift in your daily routine and thought processes.

Regardless, if you have a deep desire for change, success will be “inconvenient.”

I say this because of the changes YOU will have to make.

If it wasn’t inconvenient, you would have already obtained everything that you desire by now by staying in your same lifestyle patterns.

EVERYTHING you desire and crave is available right now to you, but the question is, “How bad do you want it?”

Are you sure?

In next week’s training, I’ll tackle this subject in great detail and I know you will not want to miss the secrets that I will reveal to you. I hope you plan on taking TONS of notes.

I will reveal this information to you on a Teleseminar next week.

This training will be content ONLY and I will not be trying to sell you ANYTHING – unlike others who are constantly trying to sell you something.

You’ll get all of the details within the next few days.

My goal is to help you achieve YOUR goals as quick as you possibly can.

In one of my future emails, you’ll learn “why” I am doing this training at no charge to you and you will thank for it – especially after you’ve seen a miraculous change in your life.

In the meantime…

I want to give you a free gift to start off the New Year on the right foot.

By now, I’m sure you have heard of – and probably already read – the book “Think and Grow Rich.”

It was written by Napoleon Hill after he was commissioned to write and teach a new systematic philosophy of wealth by the wealthiest man in the world at the time, Andrew Carnegie – founder of Carnegie Steel Company.

In today’s dollars, he would be the second wealthiest man in the world – second only to John D. Rockefeller. By the way, Bill Gates comes in at #20 is historical wealth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wealthy_historical_figures_2008).

When Andrew Carnegie talks, people listen.

If I made it possible for you to hear Andrew Carnegie talk, would YOU listen?

On my website, I want to give you the download of what I call “The Lost Recording of Andrew Carnegie.”

==> http://www.RichardLIVE.com

When you get to the download page, you’ll see another freebie that I have for you. icon smile Success Is Inconvenient

My question to you is, “Are you going to listen to it after you download it?” and “Are you going to apply what you learn?”

Success is sometimes inconvenient.

How bad do you want to change?

If you want this year to be the best one in your life, you need change “right now” and begin to program yourself for success.

To Your Success…

Viewing the World Through Child-Like Eyes

This morning my wife and I attended my son’s first Holiday Musical at pre-school. Robert is 4.5 years old now and has been attending pre-school since he was 2.5 years old. My guess is that it won’t take long before he is smarter than me.

As always, we were very proud of the little man . Considering Robert is often mistaken as a seven year old due to his size, we have to keep reminding ourselves that he is still only a toddler. The little man certainly acts a lot older than he actually is.

He can tell when we are proud of him – based on the expression on his face – by our reactions to his many feats. Robert makes this one particular look when he knows he did something well and has met our approval.

The other night, I was reminding him about a Sesame Street DVD that we used to watch when he was younger . His face immediately lit up like a Christmas tree.

“Can we watch that DVD again and do our special dance together Daddy?” Robert asked me as he continued to glow.

It’s the simple things in life that adults take for granted that amazes the youngest of kids.

Recently, I had this discussion with my wife Deanna about why we take things for granted that make kids completely dazzled.

Robert experiences such joy when he talks about giving one of his older toys to a child who doesn’t have any. Comments like that always bring a tear to our eyes. Although he is grateful he has his toys, he understands that there are kids less fortunate.

Take notice of all the little things you have in life and be grateful for them.

Today, I want you to go through your daily routine and pick out one specific thing that you can find joy in that you would normally take for granted. To do this, you may have to imagine that you are a little kid again.

As you consciously think about this exercise, the thing you notice will probably bring a smile to your face.

Can you find more things in your life that will bring a smile to your face? Of course you can – probably even more than you realize.

Robert loves it when we acknowledge how proud we are of him.

Are you showing praise to someone in your life?

Like my son, people love to be recognized for their achievements no matter how simple you think those achievements may be.

By experiencing gratitude and giving your praise to someone – or everyone – you will lighten up your day and attract more of the same to you.

Start right now to begin looking at the world again through child-like eyes. When you do, you’ll be amazed at what you see.
